Contributing to AutoProxy project

AutoProxy needs your help, and everyone can help it. :-)

1. Help people around you

Remember how hard you've tried to visit Twitter? Now look around, there are still many people who have no idea what Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Blogger, and Dropbox is.

You, don't wanna to help them?

You can write some articles to spread the knowledge, and you can try talk to people in a Starbucks or somewhere. They will enjoy the freedom.

Our best hope is that you think AutoProxy is useful and you'd like to do something for it.

2. Feedback

Got some new ideas? Found some bugs?

Please tell us. We are eager to know these in order to make AutoProxy better. :-)

3. Donation

We are spending our time on this project. But only the motivation is not enough: we've got domain name, server...

... But we don't need any donations for now.

If you'd like to encourage free softwares like AutoProxy, please consider donating to FSF or Mozilla Foundation. Without them, there'll be no AutoProxy.

4. Group administrator

Our Google Group, due to a lack of moderator, has to shut off new member requests.

5. Maintaining gfwList

Millions of users are using gfwList as an assistance. Meanwhile keeping gfwList accurate is a hard job.

Please report sites you found blocked by GFW to us, or become an gfwList Maintainer。

There was a time when, our tools can only be used on Linux.
But now, we've made it running under Mac, and Windows (w/ Cygwin).

6. Webmaster

Our server needs optimizing, and there is always something wrong. Still the users' manual is not finished...

eg. When Chinese users visit autoproxy.org, it would return Chinese pages. But all of a sudden it's broken.

Logo, autoproxy.org, AutoProxy itself. Usabilities, usabilities...
