Some issues and suggestions

First of all, the default proxies that come with the extension are duds. They all point to localhost (127.0.0.1), IOW they cut off your net connection. What's up with that?

There are proxy lists you can use out there but entering the IP's and ports manually and testing them for speed - or whether they work at all - is a drag. Your extension should be able to import a text file of IP's and ports in the form 213.192.64.54:8080. It should be able to test those IP's, promote the ones that work and disable the ones that don't work.

That's the bare minimum.

As a plus, detecting the proxies that are identifiable as such and pushing them to the bottom of the list would be nice.

Until you get around to coding all that, here's a quickie that would make our lives more simple: Put two right-click lists in the statusbar icon, one for picking a proxy and another for editing the list. Making us go through the preferences window every time is a major design flaw.

Valuable comment, thank you.
